All the time I was questioning how to get the rubrail done I was literally standing on the wood without noticing.
Early this summer a carpenter/gardner build a small terrace in our garden and the left over wood was dropped at the workshop. Mmm, the 5 meter x 21mm boards were perfect to provide two strips of wood.
The strips were glued to the outwale using nails to hold them in place. The nails will be removed after the epoxy has set.
