Yes I did cut my beloved first Minisail into handy bits to get them to the local container park.
The intention was to make a Minisail Meson out of it (GRP hull and wooden deck and cockpit) but with the arrival of the Merlin I have four wooden boats now and I think that’s more than enough to maintain at this moment. This hull with the mastpot have given way is lost, hence this Minisail had to go.
This post is a sad one and not to be instructional at all.
Obviously the cutting grinder will cut the hull in five neat portions in about ten minutes.
One tip just in case, get a grip on yourself with the grinder handy, not to cut up any other hulls near cluttering up the boat yard. Oh I was tempted.
