Introducing the Merlin in our club here in Belgium has ruffled some sailor’s feathers in a positive manner: There is a great classic boat besides the Fireball, the 420, 470, Finn, OK-dighy, Vaurien and Europe Moth.
Hardly a soul here ever heard about a Merlin Rocket, but the sheer sight of it made them want to sail it here and now…and have one.
MR 2482 hasn’t raced this year but during some rides me and fellow sailors did she proved to be moving along really well.
